The Media Library is the default view of a LivingLens channel. It displays all media in a channel and has tools to help users find media files, manage media, and export data.

By default, the Media Library displays up to 18 media thumbnails per page. The number of thumbnails may vary depending on screen size and web browser size.

Click the page numbers on the upper and lower right of the screen to navigate to different pages of media.

The Newest uploaded content appears in the upper left corner of the first page. It appears in reverse chronological order from left to right, top line to bottom line. Media can also be organized in the chronological order. toggle the display menu to show the Oldest media first.

Media thumbnail

After media is uploaded, it takes a few moments to process. The Media Library thumbnail image is grey with the message Processing Media...

Once processed, the thumbnail image shows a still from a video (example below), the uploaded image, or the label Audio Recording for audio files.

Each media thumbnail displays.

  • Media length (audio & video)

  • Media title

  • Media description if applicable

  • Upload date

  • Language

  • Media type icon - see examples below
