LivingLens’ Analytics module provides a summary of select data in a LivingLens channel. Use the dashboard to navigate from a high-level view and drill down to specific media. Find data-driven stories within the content, such as comparing Sentiment across Key Themes and groups of data.

Access the Analytics module via Analytics in the top banner menu.

Customer Admins must configure an Analytics module for each channel. See Channel management - Analytics tab.

By default, channels created by LivingLens Support have an Analytics module with the following charts:

  • Sentiment Analysis

  • Key Themes (Keyword Analysis)

  • Media Source

  • Upload Source

  • Country

Customer Admins can create additional charts once cognitive analysis is activated and media is uploaded to a channel. If your account does not have a Customer Admin, contact LivingLens Support via Medallia Knowledge Center to request additional charts.

Create additional charts for:

  • Facial Emotion Analytics (Facial Analysis) — if activated on the channel, see Note below.

  • Object Recognition — if activated on the channel, see Note below.

  • CaptureMe App Code

  • CaptureMe mobile project tasks

  • Charts for Custom filter groups

Note: Cognitive analysis charts are available once these services are activated on the channel. If Facial Emotion Analytics and/or Object Recognition are included in your Medallia subscription, file a ticket with LivingLens Support via Medallia Knowledge Center to activate on the required channel.

Key Themes and Object Recognition terms are displayed as word clouds with up to 70 terms. The word cloud display is weighted by the number of media items the term appears in.

All other categories’ charts may display as a Pie, Donut, Bar, or Column chart. Each chart has labeled attributes, such as countries and Sentiment emotions, and displays the number of media items available for each attribute.

To interact with charts and view corresponding media.

  • Click any term or chart category to isolate it. The remaining charts will re-filter based on your selections.

  • Click Reset on any chart to return to the default aggregate view.

  • All chart selections are listed at the top of the Analytics module. Click x next to any term to reset its chart.

The Analytics module displays the number of media items available based on chart selections.

Click Media Library in the top banner menu to see the relevant media. Your Analytics chart selections will persist until you click Clear Filters to remove all selections, remove one or multiple filters listed on the Media Library, or reset charts on the Analytics module.

To customize Pie, Donut, Bar and Column charts.

All charts except word clouds are customizable.

    2. Select Chart Type to extend the alternative chart type menu.

    3. Select an alternative display from the remaining three chart types.

Note: Changes to the default chart type are only visible while the page is active. They will not persist once you navigate away from the Analytics module.
