If you wish to create additional filters to apply to your media, you can do so from both the Media Library or from any media view page.
Create Filters from the Media Library:
Open up the Filters drawer and click the Manage Filters cog.
In the Filter Editor modal that appears, click the Add Filters cog.
Type in the name of your new filter.
Select the filter group you want to nest this filter within from the drop-down menu.
Or, if you want to create a new filter group alongside your new filter, scroll down this menu and select Add New Filter Group. Type in the new group name.
Click Create to save your new filter. This will also save your new filter group, if applicable.
Continue to make edits, and when you're finished, click X in the upper right corner of the Filter Editor modal.
Tip: If you want to add a new filter to an existing filter group, open the Filter Editor and click the desired group from the list on the left. Then click the Add Filters cog. You'll see your filter group is automatically populated in the group list. Add your new filter and Create.
Note: Filters will only appear in the Media Library filter drawer when they are applied to a specific piece of media. You can also create filters from any media view page, and the media view page is where you will apply filters to content.
Create Filters from the media view:
Click into the media and find the Filter Editor beneath the media player. You'll see this looks very similar to the editor in the Media Library. The only difference is that it shows which filters have been applied to this piece of content.
Click the Add Filters cog.
Type in the name of your new filter.
Select the filters group you want to nest this filter within from the drop-down menu or create a new filter group alongside this new filter.
Click Create to save your new filter. Again, this will also save the new filter group, if applicable. When you're finished, click X in the upper right corner to leave the Filter Editor modal.
Edit Filters from the media view:
Open the Filter Editor
Find the Filter Group that has the filter you want to apply.
Tick the radio button next to the filter name to apply it to a piece of content or un-tick a filter to remove it. This will be saved automatically.
Caution: If you remove a filter, LivingLens are not able to retrieve this data for you.
Edit the text of a filter:
Start from the Media Library or a media view page. Open the Filter Editor.
Select the filter group that contains the filter of which you would like to edit the text. Hover over the filter until you see a pencil edit icon.
Click the edit icon. You'll see this opens a text editor.
Make your change and click Confirm to save.
Note: Renaming a filter means that it will be renamed for all media.
You cannot edit the text of a filter group name from within the LivingLens platform. Contact LivingLens Support via Medallia Knowledge Center to request changes to the text of filter groups.
