When your Zoom and LivingLens accounts are connected, you can import Zoom cloud recorded meetings to a channel via the LivingLens platform.

Important: Before you begin, ensure you are in the correct LivingLens channel where you want to import your meeting.

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page via the menu to the left of the channel name.

Note: If you have just connected your accounts, you may need to refresh the LivingLens screen.

  2. Use the Meeting Date menu to find recordings that were made within the last six months. By default, the platform displays meetings that were recorded to the cloud in the last three days.

  3. If your Zoom account is set up so that Zoom transcribes your meeting, and the transcript is available to upload alongside your video, the platform displays a checkmark in the Transcriptions Available column.

  4. Click Import Meeting for the desired meeting.

  5. In the Import Meeting modal window, select the Language and Country for the recording. English language appears by default; edit this using the dropdown menu.

  6. LivingLens displays all versions of a recording that Zoom produced, such a video and audio-only recording, or multiple views of the meeting e.g. shared screen with and without Speaker View. This is based on your Zoom account’s cloud recording settings. By default, all versions of a meeting recording are set to import into LivingLens (toggled green). Toggle the switch (grey) next to any version of the meeting if you do not wish to import it.

  7. For each version of the recording, select a transcription (and translation if applicable) solution. If you want to use the Zoom transcription, which includes Zoom-produced speaker names, select Zoom Transcription.

    1. English content — Select Machine Speech Recognition (speech to text) or Human Transcription. See Note below.

Select Speaker Separation to order this transcript formatting. See Speaker Separation.

If a Zoom Transcription is available, you can select this option.

    2. Non-English content — Select Human Transcription or Machine Speech Recognition (speech to text) of the spoken word.

The option to process transcription for Speaker Separation appears if it is available for the language and transcription solution. See Speaker Separation.

By default, LivingLens also selects Machine Translation into English. If you select Human Transcription, you can also select Human Translation. See Note below.

Note: Human Transcription and Human Translation services will accrue additional cost if they are not included in your subscription.

  8. Click Review to review your selections.

  9. Click Cancel or X at any point to exit the Import Meeting window.

  10. Click Confirm to initiate the meeting import into the LivingLens channel you are in. The meeting file displays in the Media Library when once it finished processing.

You are able to access the Integrations page from any of your LivingLens channels and are able to upload Zoom cloud recorded meetings to any channel.

The Integrations page has an Uploaded column. If there is a checkmark next to a meeting, it means you have uploaded the recording to LivingLens. Hover over the checkmark to view the channel name you uploaded the meeting to.
